Brent Hewett is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist® (BCMA), a distinction held by fewer than two percent of all ISA Certified Arborists®. As the International Society of Arboriculture notes, “The ISA Board Certified Master Arborist® credential is the highest level of certification offered by ISA…recognizing arborists who have reached the pinnacle of their profession.” 

This advanced certification reflects extensive training, a rigorous scenario-based examination, and a commitment to a professional Code of Ethics — providing clients with the highest level of expertise and judgment in arboricultural consulting

Board Certified Master Arborist

Brent Hewett has earned the Tree and Plant Appraisal Qualification (TPAQ) from the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA), a credential recognizing advanced expertise in the valuation of trees and landscape plants. 

This specialized training prepares qualified arborists to provide accurate, defensible appraisals for insurance claims, property transactions, development projects, and legal proceedings, using nationally recognized standards and professional ethics. This qualification ensures clients receive objective, well-supported valuations from a highly trained consulting arborist.

Tree and Plant Appraisal Qualified

  • Recognized as a tree care professional who has specialized knowledge in tree risk assessment.
  • Are proficient with the fundamentals of limited-visual and basic tree risk assessment
  • Understand the principles of advanced diagnostic techniques for assessing tree risk;
  • Know how to gather and synthesize information needed to assess tree risk; and
  • Can make reasoned judgments and recommendations for mitigating identified risk.

ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification

  • The Wildfire Risk Reduction Qualification (WRRQ) signifies that the individual arborist was an ISA Certified Arborist when they took the course and has received special training on the reduction of wildfire risk to homes, property, and natural areas.
  • Texas A&M Forest Service (TFS) in collaboration with the Texas Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISAT).
